OK before you bring out the pitchforks and torches, I can totally explain my loong absence. Sooooo school has been very very hectic for me. Since resumption I’ve barely even had time to just breathe man. So many assignments, projects, practicals to do, and so many books to read. It has really been a stressful period but I’m finally finding the time to take a step back and just you know, breathe. I’m really sorry for not posting for a whole two months. I’ll try my best to make up for it. (No promises though, lol).
So I’m back with a post that has been sitting in my drafts for at least two weeks, but I finally got around to finishing it up. Points for MissBluw, Yay.
So we can never have too many posts on achieving clear and glowing skin, because at the end of the day, that’s one of our goals; for our skin to be PO-pping.
So today, I’m going to be sharing with you guys three things I do daily for clear skin that actually works for me. Now I need you to understand that what works for me may not necessarily work for you, but these are simple things that are natural and have been working for others too, so I’m pretty sure it will also be effective for you. They are things I’ve learnt to do overtime and if you do them consistently, you’ll see the results over time.
1. Drinking Lots Of Water
I’m sure we’ve heard this over and over again; that water is good for our skin. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s absolutely true. Generally, I drink a lot of water. I literally go everywhere with a bottle of water, or I have to buy if I don’t have. I wake up in the morning and I drink at least a glass of water. Drinking lots of water helps your skin stay hydrated and fresh at all times. If you don’t drink enough water, your skin will be look dry and dull. So, I’ve learnt to drink lots of water everyday and it really helps my skin cos my skin easily gets dry.
2. Bathing Twice A Day
Cleanliness most definitely leads to clear skin. At the end of every day, I try as much as possible to take my bath no matter how exhausted or tired I am. Aside from making me feel fresh and reinvigorated, taking my bath helps me get rid of all the impurities my skin gathered all through the day. From dirt gotten through sweating, touching and things in the air, bathing and washing my skin removes them. Once dirt have been removed, my skin looks clean and fresh.
3. Using Coconut Oil Daily
If you’ve been following this blog for some time now, you’ll know I absolutely love oils. I use them a lot because of the immense benefits they have. My skin is generally dry, so I mostly use coconut oil as my body cream. I mix it with Shea butter and it works wonders for my skin. Coconut oil makes your skin soft, glow and shine.
