How was your weekend? Do anything exciting? Mine was a bit stressful, but it was ok. I had the chance to meet up with my family. It was for a sad occasion (my uncle’s funeral), but we all had and kept each other strong and said our goodbyes, it was really beautiful.
Anyhoo, today I’m gonna be sharing with you tips to getting great skin. Having great skin like the celebrities doesn’t just happen over night. There’s some work you need to put in, habits you need to cultivate.
So today, I’m going to share with you guys 5 habits of people with great skin. These are things you need to do in order to keep and maintain a clean and healthy skin.
Bathing regularly is something that has been drummed into our heads right from our childhood. Bathing is a sign of cleanliness. It cleans us and removes dirt from our skin. A clean skin is a healthy skin. If you don’t bathe regularly, dirt and germs will accumulate on the skin and this can lead to body odour (which is terrible), and also skin problems which isn’t a good look. So to avoid all this, it is advised we bathe at least two times daily. In the morning to freshen up and clean off the dirt that gathered during the night, and at night to clean off the dirt that accumulated during the day.
It’s not a secret that eating healthy promotes great skin. It has been shown by doctors and skin therapists that eating lots of fruits and vegetables helps in keeping the skin fresh. This is also a beauty tip that has been shared by celebrities numerous times. To have good skin, we must eat healthy. And to do that, we need to lessen the junk we eat and incorporate more fruits and veggies into our diet. I’m not really a fan of vegetables, but I try as much as possible to eat it frequently because I know the benefits. Want great skin? Eat more of fruits.
Exfoliating is one of the most important part of your skin care regimen which you shouldn’t skip out. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells from your body and face and makes your skin look really clean, fresh and glowing, and it is advised to exfoliate at most 3 times weekly.
A good sleep routine can do so much for your skin. During sleep, your skin repairs damage caused during the day, and also rebuilds collagen. This helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It is advised we get 7-9 hours of sleep everyday for maximum effect. Having enough hours of sleep everyday gives you a fresh and beautiful skin free of fine lines, wrinkles and eye bags.
